Alternative to hiking Half DomeLocals will tell you that this hike is equally challenging but more rewarding than Half Dome, with a summit that provides sweeping views of Half Dome, the Cathedral Range and Tenaya Canyon. The view from here is considered by many to be even better than from the top of Half Dome.
